Prime Bees, LLC (doing business as Prime Bees and Aggieland Honey) (“Prime Bees,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through primebees.com and our related forms, online store and services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies together with our Terms of Use.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, property or mailing address, county, acreage and property details, details about a bee problem (such as where the bees are and how long they have been there), photos you upload, and anything you write in a form, email, text message or call.
- Orders and payments: items purchased and billing and shipping details. Card payments are handled by our payment processors (such as Stripe, WooPayments, PayPal and QuickBooks Payments); we do not store full card numbers.
- Public property records: for land and hive-lease inquiries we may look up your property in public county appraisal district records (for example ownership, acreage and agricultural valuation status) to prepare a quote.
- Automatic information: basic device, browser and usage data collected through cookies and similar tools to run and improve the site and prevent spam.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and requests, prepare quotes, and schedule hive placement, service, bee removals, pickups and deliveries.
- To process orders, payments, contracts and invoices.
- To contact you about your inquiry, quote, order or service by email or phone, and by text message if you have opted in (see “Text messaging (SMS)” below).
- To send occasional updates about our products and services by email if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
- To keep records required for agricultural valuation, accounting and legal purposes, and to maintain, improve and protect our website.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, customer-relationship, email and text-messaging platforms, payment processors, and accounting and e-signature tools. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Bee removal referrals, only with your consent. If you submit a bee removal request and check the box agreeing to it, we may share your request and contact details with an independent bee removal professional who serves your area so they can contact you about that request. This sharing never includes your text-message opt-in or consent.
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety or that of others.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you check the optional text-message consent box on one of our website forms, we will use your mobile number to text you about your inquiry, quotes, service and scheduling. Message frequency varies, up to 5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. See the SMS terms in our Terms of Use.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies for things like keeping items in your cart, making forms work, remembering preferences and understanding site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Data retention and security
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including ongoing hive leases and the record-keeping that agricultural valuation and accounting require, and then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@primebees.com or calling 979-429-3141. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
